A Randomized Controlled Family Intervention Trial

Abstract:
Family members will be recruited between 1 and 2 years after injury. Family members who agree to participate will be randomly assigned to either a cognitive-behavioral treatment group, a traditional support group, or a no treatment control group. Pre-test and post-test measures will be administered to assess family systems functioning, emotional distress, perceived burden, coping strategies, and satisfaction with social support
