Evaluating the effectiveness of alternate methods of service delivery after discharge from the acute care following TBI

Abstract:
This project examines the effect of different treatment pathways following discharge from the acute care setting. The patient characteristics and outcomes of persons who are treated in subacute facilities prior to inpatient rehabilitation are compared to persons who are discharged from acute care directly to inpatient rehabilitation.
