Levin, et al. studied the relationship of post-traumatic amnesia (PTA) to outcome, and reported that those with PTA > 2 weeks had severe disability based on the Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS). This study investigated the relationship of coma and PTA duration (as measured by serial administration of the Galveston Orientation Amnesia Test) to the GOS and Disability Rating Scale
