Cost-effectiveness of Scheduled Telephone Intervention: An Evaluation Among Medicare and Medicaid Recipients
Abstract:
1)To study how public medical costs and outcomes differ among persons receiving usual care as opposed to telephone follow-up intervention (Project R-1) through an analysis of treatment cost-effectiveness. 2) The study is a two group experimental design. Cost will be measured over the period of one year post-injury. Outcomes (measured in years of healthy life) will be collected at discharge and a 1-year post-injury. 3) Medicare and Medicaid cost databases. University of Washington TBI Model System database
